Greek for Grace or Undeserved Gifts. We all have them, learning to recognize them before it's too late, that's another story. Hopefully through this blog we can share what we have been graced with and share our stories about our "undeserved gifts."

She has a name!

Devynn Marie Clare Schramm. At least that's what we're pretty sure her name will be. I'm not getting anything embroidered or personalized yet cause you never know...But as of now we have Baby Devynn on her way to us!

No Mommies Allowed!!!!

So along with getting fired by Kailee last week, (yes she actually told me I was fired!) the girls went to their first ever Daddy Daughter Dance! And I was told-No mommies allowed! Nice huh? They have been so excited about it ever since Todd told them he bought the tickets. It was the annual dance held at our church and there were lots of Daddy's and their little girls in attendance. Mia and Kailee can't stop talking about it and Mia still asks Todd to do the flip dance! They all enjoyed themselves and I only wish I had been able to sneak in behind the scenes somewhere to see it all! But we moms have to let go-very very slowly but surely! Just think next time Todd could have 3 dates for the dance!!! But we'll let you know for sure on the 23rd!!!!

Updating....

Yes, yes, I know. We are starting to slack off on this whole blog thing. Blame it on the preggo brain!!! So-what's up with us? Last week was a busy week. Billy's baseball tryout began on Monday. 2 hour minimum practices after school everyday. Most nights he and Todd did not get home till well after 6:30. Saturday was spent at the ballfield too. 9:30 till after 5. Long days!!! He finds out today if he made the team. He is hopeful and so are we! He is a good player and would be an asset to the team! Keeping our fingers crossed all day today! The kids have continued to be busy. We had a beautiful afternoon yesterday and they spent most of their time outside playing. It is supposed to stay in the high 60's and low 70's for the next few days so no doubt we will all be outside enjoying our sunshine! As for baby Schramm-he/she is continually growing. We are 16 weeks along and due July 22nd. We rented a doppler and the kids-even Billy-really enjoy getting to hear the baby's heartbeat everyday. Mia scares me a little. She keeps pointing to the belly in two different areas and saying this is baby (boy name) and this is baby (girl name). Last time they checked there was only one baby in there. Mia insists it's twins! Wishful thinking or does she know more than we do? Stranger things have happened! We are due to find out on the 23rd what we are having and we are both excited to know! I'm hoping my OB will do a quickie ultrasound at my appointment on the 15th to see what's in there! I hate waiting. In case you were wondering why it says boy name and girl name above-we are keeping our choices quiet until we know the sex of this little turkey. We promise we'll tell when we know! Well that's it for now. Hope this finds everyone happy and healthy! Talk to you all soon!
