Slacking off again....
Okay so I haven't been so great at keeping up the blog lately! I'm such a slacker! So here's the update. We're all doing great! September was another crazy month for us-okay so every month is a crazy month for us but who's really keeping track?
We've basically just been getting back into a routine. School, drop offs and pick ups, after school activities, the gym, daycare kids etc...
We joined the YMCA finally and have been really using it! The kids love the Kid Zone and they have child care for the baby. It gives me a chance to take a class or just work out. I'm actually running again-scary but true. Up to a mile and a half now-which to some of you is nothing but for me who hasn't done any consistent running in 9 years or so it's really exciting. I got an MP3 player that I have a hardcore techno running mix on to keep me motivated and it seems to be working. I hope to be back up to my old 5-6 miles a day by Christmas but we'll see. Trying to get this mommy fat off-and no it's not baby fat-she didn't make me fat, I did! Gotta own up to it!
Anyway-the kids are doing great, Mia loves school, Chase got a new teacher who we are sooo excited about, Billy loves football and hates geometry, Kailee is enjoying more one on one time with the bigger kids gone and Devynn is growing like a weed. She's started smiling and cooing! Fun times are ahead! It's hard to believe she's already 3 months old!
We had a really fun visit with G'ma and G'pa Schramm three weeks ago and we even went to SeaWorld to see Shamu! G'Pa and Todd built a puppet theater for the kids which was a lot of fun to "premiere." Even Billy got in on the show!
October promises to be another busy month. Saturday was Kailee and Mia's first T'ball games. They play on seperate teams and in a couple of weeks will be playing each other! Not sure how that's going to work but...This Sunday we had Mia's birthday party at a really neat kids place called RadiJazz and all the kids were beat at the end of 2 hours of craziness. And between football games, t'ball games and just life I'm not sure when we'll have a break! I will try to keep the blog more up to date but here's some pics for the time being. More to come!
